The USCCB Committee on Pro-Life Activities is inviting Catholics to join a focused effort of prayer for the end of abortion and for the protection of women and pre-born children, beginning on March 25, the eve of the oral arguments, and the anniversary of St. John Paul II’s landmark, pro-life encyclical, The Gospel of Life (Evangelium vitae).
On Sunday, December 17, 2023 at the 10AM Mass Father Brandon Wolf was installed as the Pastor of the Church of St. Patrick Dickinson by Bishop David D. Kagan. Father Wolf made a Profession of Faith, took an Oath of Fidelity On Assuming An Office To Be Exercised In The Name Of The Church and accepted the Degree Of Possession. All was witnessed by those present with representatives of the Finance Council and Parish Council signing the Degree of Possession along with Bishop Kagan and Fr. Wolf. Following Mass, a reception was held in Garvin Hall hosted by our Knights of Columbus Council 1515.
Announcing: Bishop Kagan has appointed Fr. Brandon Wolf, the pastor of St. Patrick’s effective, Friday, December 1, 2023 Fr. Brandon Wolf was born and raised in Minot and graduated from Bishop Ryan High School in 2002. He entered seminary formation in 2012. In between high school and seminary he attended Minot State University and worked at several jobs with a primary career as a Water Operator for the City of Minot and North Prairie Rural Water. Fr. Wolf attended Kenrick-Glennon Seminary in St. Louis, St. John Vianney Seminary in Denver, and the Pontifical North American College in Rome. He received his philosophy degree from Kenrick-Glennon, his S.T.B. from the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas, and a diploma in Ignatian Spirituality from the Pontifical Gregorian University. Fr. Wolf has served as Parochial Vicar at Spirit of Life in Mandan, religion teacher at St. Mary’s Central High School, Chaplain at St. Mary’s Academy and most recently as Dean of Students at Bishop Ryan Catholic School. Beginning on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at Noon we will be out of the Church as the flooring is being replaced. It is our expectation the work will be completed and we will be back in the Church for Ash Wednesday, March 6, 2019. All Masses will be held in Garvin Hall during these few weeks. The weekend Mass times will remain the same. There will be no communion service on Mondays. Mass on Tuesday will be at 8:30 AM. Masses on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday will be at 6:45 AM. There will not be morning Confessions during this time. Weekend confessions will also be in Garvin Hall and will be Saturday at 3:15 – 4:15 PM and Sunday 7:15 – 7:45 AM and 9:15 – 9:45 AM. During this time Eucharistic Adoration will be in the Chapel at the Parish Center, Monday through Friday. The scheduled hours for Adoration will be: Monday from Noon until 4:00 PM, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM each day.
